Hi everyone

I bought a TENS machine from Lidl at the weekend and was just wondering if anyone else has one or has tried one and how the found it?
It only cost me £19.99 so I thought it was worth a try and I really don't get on with pain meds.

Thanks Smile

Amy

Hi Amy

I haven't but they are meant to be good aren't they? Be interesting to hear how you find it?
Hope it helps you.

Take Care

Hi Amy

Hope you get on well with the Tens, and help you with the pain. Be interested for you thoughts on them as I still have pain in shoulders etc even though my inflammation is now under control.

Amy

My Husband bought me a TENS machine when I was very first diagnosed with RA and in so much pain. It really, really helped. It was a bit of a fiddle getting it working and the sticky pads did not always stick but I truly could not have done without it.

I now survive on a strict regime of 8 paracetemol in 24 hours and my pain is mostly under control. I do hate taking tablets though.

Good luck and hope you get some benefit from it.

Jackie

I've never tried one but am very interested to know how you get along with it because I seem to take so many pain killers these days and would like to cut down. Please describe what it's like to use it and whether you notice any beneficial effects. Naomi, X

I agree with everyone - I've never tried it, but would definitly like to cut down on the pain killers if at all possible. Please do keep us posted, it sounds very hopeful.

That sounds like a good thing to have, even just to use when pain is really bad.
I hate taking pain killers too, we stuff enough horrible meds in our systems as it is.
Will have to look on Amazon.
